A 3rd- to 5th-level adventure set in an ancient forest temple overgrown with luminous blue-green mycelia. The last keeper of a centuries-old pact with a fey entity lies catatonic, and the bargain is hours from expiry. What begins as a rescue mission becomes a moral question about memory, sacrifice, and what we owe to the natural world.

Background

Centuries ago, the druidic Circle of the Glimmervein bound a radiant fey spirit — the Lumen-Singer — into the temple’s root-network. In exchange for sustaining the forest’s fertility across a hundred-mile span, each generation of the circle surrendered one willing member’s memories to the entity as tribute, keeping it aware and powerful. The circle has dwindled to a single keeper, the elderly druid Thallan Verwood. The pact expires in three days.
