Background

Captain Vex plundered the Jade Heart from a sunken temple. His first mate, Lysandra, coveted its power. During a mutiny, she shattered the Heart. The explosion killed the crew and fractured time itself. The waterfall sealed the grotto. Lysandra escaped but is bound by Vex’s dying geas—she cannot touch the Heart. She poses as a scholar, manipulating adventurers to break her curse so she can command the spectral fleet she murdered to create.
