Background
Decades ago, Captain Argo Vane and his crew used Moonwake Grotto as a smuggler haven. When a mutiny turned bloody, Vane bound his killers with a dying curse. Their bones still patrol the cove, repeating the night of betrayal whenever moonlight touches the waterfall. Recently, Magistrate Quill found Vane’s old logbook and learned the curse can be aimed. She has been sending rivals, debtors, and witnesses to the falls, where the undead drag them below.
